The Black Country made artists’ influence in music derived from Mother and her cousin, Janet Kay (also a well known artist). Teè has always had artists, including Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Aretha Franklin, etc,, playing within herr home, which is where her inspiration to explore music began.

From a very young age, the talented singer has been involved with the choir, the orchestra, etc, and is a multi-instrumentalist - playing the violin, trumpet, flute, piano, and is now mastering the guitar.

Currently at University and successfully gigging and performing, she has landed major performance milestones, having the opportunity to perform at Godiva Festival in September 2021 alongside artists such as Craig David. Teè has also performed during the Festival Season of 2022, securing a spot on Wales, Reggae Riddim Festival in July 2022, amongst stars including Luciano, Maxi Priest and her famous relative Janet Kay.

Now leading into the Festival Season of 2023, Teè has bagged her spot on Stoke-On-Trent's Six Town's Carnival, where she will be slaying the Main Stage on Sunday 9th July.

Teè states that she is at her ‘prime’ and it’s only a matter of time before all is revealed, there is nothing stopping the striving artist from reaching heights that she knows she will get to with hard work and perseverance.

“This young star, ready to take over the globe and I’m sure will receive a lot of love in Africa” “Obviously very passionate about her craft and career” “She is not lying; she has a bright future in music”
